As an Owner’s Representative, Tropikos will take on all responsibilities of an absentee or passive owner in the development process. A detailed agreement with the Owner will specify the scope of duties and authority assigned to Tropikos. In this capacity, Tropikos effectively acts as the owner in his/her absence, while maintaining ongoing communication and reporting to apprise the Owner of the project’s status.
Tropikos' fee as an Owner’s Representative is based on time and expenses. Our current fees are $200 per hour for professional time and $75 per hour for administrative time, plus actual out-of-pocket expenses. Our Owner’s Representative Agreement is cancel-able upon 30-day notice if, for any reason, you do not feel we are bringing value to your project.

Before a storm, we will document your property’s condition, so after the storm we can better evaluate any damage and help you quantify your loss. We’ll help you sort out any issues and repair, or rebuild, as needed — with thorough documentation to help with insurance claims.
